Why must I keep falling off my skyblock map the moment I completely fill my inventory with stone bricks and wood. Whhhyyyyy. 

Skyblock doesn’t want me to finish this house. :(

Woooo, tonight is several times better than last night. I got a second sale on spoonflower and my skyblock map finally spawned another pig! 

Kat’s Skyblock adventures

• working on a church/chapel type thing to house my nether portal
• damn, out of stairs for the roof
• run off to make more, but by the time I return, crap has spawned all over the place
• because I’m not smart enough to put down torches
• run off in another direction to see if I have enough string for a bow
• nope!
• notice in my grassy tree growing field that I have a cow! 
• and another cow!
• sweet jeebus I’ll never starve again! 
• back to the chapel with a sword
• first creeper blows up
• when trying to repair the damage, nearly run headfirst into an enderman 
• must’ve been hurt in the creeper blast because he dies in two hits with a stone sword
• oh neat, a useless enderpearl
• on the scaffolding, trying to knock off another creeper
• fails and it blows up too
• whatever, I only lost a dozen or so blocks, time to plug the hole with this piece of cobblestone
• but wait, what’s this? my mouse is an asshole and the scroll wheel magically turns on its own
• guess what was the next thing in my hotbar
• that I right clicked on right on the edge of a 1 wide hole 
• and then precede to have the shortest teleportation ever followed by the lovely long fall into oblivion
• proceeds to idle next to my chicken prison gathering eggs while I type this
• unpause to a glitching cow head in front of my face, as it has, of course, found its way into the 1x1 hole
• oh thanks cow
• now I have to kill all my chickens to get you out
• thanks a lot

Rage quit. 

Snow is a douche-bag.

So, after having played the Skyblock challenge for many days now, I’ve come to the conclusion that the worst part of the challenge (which is indeed fun) is not the threat of falling off into the void, not the tedious process of harvesting cobble, or the frustration of having far too few precious dirt blocks. 

It’s snow. It’s fucking snow. Fuck you snow. It hadn’t snowed for at least 3 or 4 in game days. Less than 60 seconds after I finished setting up my new farming area, it fucking snows. God damnit. Now I have to scramble and cover all my crops, since I have very few seeds left over and losing these would suck. 

Does a fence roof block out snow? If I just had more sand this wouldn’t be a problem, as I can make a roof with that, but I only have 1 piece left. (The other 2 were lost in creeper accidents. Fucking creepers.)
